BR 2-09: Aesop's Fables

I read "Aesop's Fables". It has 8 chapters.

First chapter is the tortoise and the hare's story. The content is about race. The hare thought he will win the race absolutely. So he run fast and he sleep on the way. While the hare was sleep, the tortoise passed him and he reached his goal. The hare is lose the race.

Second chapter is the thirsty crow. The story is about the crow that is thirsty. And he wanted to something to drink. Then he found a pot on windowsill. Little water was in the pot. The crow couldn't reach it. So he found a lot of pebbles and dropped into the pot. And he could drink it.

Third chapter title is "The ant and the dove". One day, there was the ant. He dropped into the water accidentally. He can't swim. He was panicked. Then the dove helped him. The following day, the ant saw the dove which helped him. But the dove was in trouble. The human want to catch the dove, the ant helped the dove.

Fourth chapter's title is "The fox and the stork". The fox invited the stork to the dinner. He made fresh soup, but it is in flat dish. So the stork couldn't eat the soup. The other day, the stork invited the fox to the dinner. He made soup and it is in slender dish. So the fox couldn't eat it.

Fifth chapter's title is the "The mouse's tale". The main character is country mouse and city mouse. One day, the country mouse went to the city mouse's house, but it was not agree with him.

Sixth chapter's title is "The dog and the bone". One day, the dog which hold the bone went to the river and he found other dog which hold the bone. The dog's bone seems bigger than his bone, so he wanted to get his bone. But the figure that came out on the surface is himself. Of course, he didn't understand, so he lose the bone.

Seventh chapter's title is "The fox and the crow". The crow hold the cheese. The fox watched it. He wanted it, and he asked him to hear the crow's voice. And the crow began to cry. Then the cheese dropped into the fox's mouth.

Eighth chapter's title is "The lion and the mouse". While the lion was sleeping, the mouse passed side the lion. He woke up and caught him. He wanted to eat. He said him "Help me. If you in the trouble, I will help you". Next day the lion was shared. The mouse heard his roar, and helped him.

This stories are so good. All stories have moral, I can learn some moral through the stories.
