Essay 1-02a: Hawaii

I am going to tell you about Hawaii. I selected the websites. Becasue there are a lot of pictures, so it easy to see. And it is interesting for me. First, introduction. Do you know Hawaiian history? Five million years ago, the Hawaiian Islands came into existance by volcanic activity. In AD 500, Polynesian land on the Hawaiian Islands. They are first settler. Around AD 1000, a lot of Tahitians immigrated and dispersed each islands. Around AD 1100, Captain James Cook discovered the islands in 1778. He was welcomed by islander. But afterward he was killed. around 1790, King kamehameha reigned the big islands. In 1880, the hawaiian dynasty was beginning but 84 years later, the dynasty was end. Next I want to tell you about hawaiian language. Many people know "aloha". I think it mean "hello". But "aloha" means many things. For example, good bye and love. "mahalo" means "thank you". Hawaiian language use such as name of sea like Waikiki beach. "Waikiki" means "quick" and "fast". How about check others beach name? You can understand the beach's name.

Next, I am going to tell you about Hawaiian beach. Hawaii has a lot of beaches. I am going to introduce three Hawaiian beaches. It is Waikiki beach, Sunset beach park and Ala moana beach park. Waikiki beach is most famous beach in thee world. There is center of the Waikiki. In Waikiki beach, you can see diamond head, so you are able to have realization that you are in Hawaii. Sunset beach park, it is one of the longest sand beaches in Oahu. The beach is longing place for a lpt of surfers. From November to December, surfing meeting take place there. Many top surfers take part in it. Ala moana beach park. It is near Ala moana shopping center. The beach's wave is calm, so it is relief beach.

Next is shopping center. The most famous shopping center in Oahu is Ala moana shopping center. It is so big shopping center. You probably can not look round all store in Ala moana shopping center a day. There sells anything so you can not tire. Royal Hawaiian shopping center, there enjoy shopping and culture lesson somothing others. Kahala mall, There is in fashionable residential area. But there sells not only high quality goods but not high qualuty goods.

Next is nature. You will already know Diamond head. It looks a mountain below from the mountain. but it looks crater from sky. It is excellent!

Lastly, my recommend spot. It is Hawaiiam beach. It is so beautiful beach. In the morning, you can see beautiful sunrise anf in the evening, youcan see beautiful sunset. If you visit to Hawaii, let's see it!!!!
